Tampa Bay Food Tours visited a new restaurant by Tampa stadium. Raices serves flavorful Cuban comfort food in a relaxed, casual setting. There’s a good amount of outdoor seating but being right on Dale Mabry Hwy it can be a bit noisy at times. Prices are a bit high for Cuban food. We had the roast pork, which came in a generous portion served sliced rather than shredded — a nice twist that lets you pull the pork yourself. The black beans were a highlight, with fried pork chicharrónes adding great depth and crunch. They were so good they inspired us to air-fry our leftovers and mix them into the beans the next day — always a sign of a memorable dish.

We visited the restaurant for the first time last night with our two small boys. We had an amazing time. The live music and atmosphere were inviting and very enjoyable. Staff was friendly, food came out quick and needless to say everything was delicious. Probably one of the best churrascos in town. The frituras de malanga were the best I’ve ever had as well. Plenty of choices for alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and delicious desserts. I will say, the place gets packed so arrive early or make reservations.

I like this Restaurant. Service was Phenomenal. Yakima our server was Courteous and took care of Us. Clean, Convenient location, Food is delicious with authentic Sabor Cubano, appetizers are great (croquetas de jamon) delicious, i had the chilindron de Cordero (Stewed Lamb) it was Deliciosos and excellent portion. well seasoned and tender. Also had the Mojito ( Passion fruit Flavor) and it was good. and of course had the Cafe con leche🏆💪🏾. Overall i recommend Raices restaurant if you want to experience a good chill time dining experience with friends and loved ones.

the place is nice and clean. The costumer service is very good. Food was delicious except for the chicken and the pork not bad but not my style of meat. everything else was excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Our waitress TAYMI was amazing too — friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!
