I stop by this Cane's a few times each month and love it. The Box Combo is my go-to and it's always hot and tasty. I used to exclusively use the app to place to-go orders, but have recently begun dining in. The interior is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

Canes Covington, Hwy190 22$ Caniac meal w extra fries, extra sauce and no slaw but an extra piece of that hittin toast. Food was burning hot, which is outstanding. Chris, cashier, at the front was excellent help. Let me know he was on his way to help me and then apologized for the wait, which was around 16 seconds :D A big surprise was that the chicken tenders were Soggy. Not slightly wetted but dripping, maybe too much grease? But they didn’t taste greasy. They were fried well! Unsure if that’s cuz the high heat causing rapid condensation— but they should be crispy and not wet. Which was a drag. Also to add to that moist mystery, I got it “for here” so the chicken should have been well ventilated (which, if enclosed, adds quickly to more soggy fried chicken skin because the heat is n

~ Lucas greeted me at the counter and was great to talk with because he had a smile on his face! It was also extra nice because he recognized me as a celebrity from the show Holey Moley but he didn’t point it out. That was nice, I appreciated that because I was with my family.. It’s a great atmosphere except that their New Orleans Saints fans. Besides that everything was great. The bathroom had a changing station for my little one. And they were of ample size. Everybody is really nice. The food tasted great and the employees seem like they like working here. Really nice size parking lot so there’s easy parking and they have two lanes for their drive-through. There’s also places to sit out front with umbrellas. They also have a fan with one blade and a crazy disco ball.

It was a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was very busy. The parking lot was chaotic with an extra long drive thru line blocking parking aisles at one end. The lot is very tight in general with no extra room for maneuvering around other vehicles. We ordered 2 box combos with extra crispy fries and subbed in fries for the cole slaw along with an extra piece of toast. The toast I had wasn’t hot - it wasn’t even warm. The fries weren’t extra crispy - they were barely cooked. They did replace those with some fries that were cooked marginally longer than the original - still nowhere close to extra crispy. The chicken was not at hot as Cane’s strips usually are and seemed tough to me. One of the worst Cane’s experiences I have had.

I wouldn't say it was a bad experience just every time I go and ask for extra sauce they either give me a big old extra large cup of it and call it a small I'll just ask for a smaller cup and they refused to do it and then want to charge me for multiple of the little containers it's just crazy why can't I just get a little small cup of sauce LOL I find the tenders to be smaller in size I asked for Bob on my breads and I didn't get it it's not the first time it's happened either. I just want a small cup of sauce, that's not too much to ask for.
