Enjoyed a delicious meal of an enchilada and taco with rice, beans, chips and salsa at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the small town feel and the conversation of the locals. A real gem for a small town. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Hamburgers and Mexican food okay. Stay away from chicken fried steak. Needs a chainsaw to cut it then you have to try to chew it. Steak fingers used to be good. Now they are all gristle. I think they use the same chicken fried steak meat.

The staff was really nice. They were all getting the buffet table cleaned and preparing to fill the pans. There were only three guests' tables already eating when I walked in. I did not dine in, I went in to order to go. It was right at noon, on a Saturday. It was not busy, so there was not a lot going on. I ordered 7 tacos, which took at least 30 minutes to get it, and in my opinion, the price was a bit high. I live in the DFW, where taquerias are overflowing with varieties and used to paying half the price for what I paid there. The taco meat was very dry and hardly no flavor. It was not fresh. Being it was just noon, the meat should have tasted freshly cooked and moist. It clearly was heated leftovers. The long wait was the indication. I will try them again when I visit next time and t
