Ranger Family Restaurant

I can't say enough good things about this cute restaurant. The food is excellent, comfort-home cooking. The staff are delightful. We've been twice and will become regulars for sure!

Fantastic food, clean diner, great and fast service. I had cheese curds and a breaded BBQ chicken sandwich on a toasted bun. I could tell that the meat was freshly breaded as advertised. The curds were delicious, and even the dipping ranch was delightful, properly tangy with bits of fresh cilantro mixed in. The view of the road into Wausaukee felt romantic. Reasonable prices. What a gem!

My family visited Pembine for the first time while on a trip for my husband's birthday and came across Rangers. We stopped in for a quick dinner. It wasn't busy when we arrived but we were eager to try a new spot. The waitress wasn't very friendly but we figured she had a long day. It took a bit for our food to arrive, but that was okay. We began to feel out of place when a customer made a loud comment, followed by an exaggerated sigh that we had two children with us. Our young kids were behaving...one was playing quietly with a toy and the other was playing iSpy with her dad. We ended up asking for to go containers. Plasticware we asked for was never put in the bag so we ended up not being able to eat much of what we ordered as it was messy. Overall, things were alright but wish our expe
