Rapid City Tavern

I'm a local here and for a long time I came in every week to buy the fish. I would tell everybody to go there how great their food was. I wont be doing that anymore they don't cater to locals all they care about is the tourist and outside people who come from out of town. Their prices are high. The food is decent. Refuse to add any kind of additions to their menu items.

My husband and I drive approximately 20 miles to eat here. Everything we have ordered has been exceptional! We now are bringing our friends. The scary thing is, the more people I tell how great they are means the wait for a table could increase. Make sure to check what the daily lunch & dinner specials are for the day. The specials just add to the delicious menu items.

Off the beaten path! Great little bar just off the road. Really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend this stop. Thanks Brian and team

My kind of a "dive." The exterior doesn't look like much, the interior is very nice, clean and cute. My only negative is the drink prices are as high or higher than 4-5 star restaurants I have been to.

We live in Rapid City. My dad is terminally ill and too sick to sit in a restaurant. I stopped in after picking him up from dialysis to order a meal for us. The bartender scowled at me when I told him I needed to place an order to go. “Yeah, we are busy. We can’t help you. You’ll have to go somewhere else for food.”
