Ordered a steak sandwich. Meat was tougher than leather, with several inedible portions. I never once mentioned cheese… but I open it and there’s American(!) cheese melted ALL throughout the sandwich. They need someone else preparing the food. The woman does not endear herself to customers in any way. Disappointing.
Every single thing I ordered was not edible. The mangu tasted like fish and made me nauseous. The avena juice tasted spoiled and bitter and their pudín de pan was dry as sand. The mollejas and guineitos also went in the trash, not good at all. The empanadas were so greasy the entire paper bag was saturated in oil. $70 spent for no reason.
The food is disgusting and cold!! Customer service is horrible. They didn’t have rice or beans and instead of giving me a refund or extra food like I asked. They gave me cold, oily pernil that was just fat and unseasoned soggy French fries. And when I asked the guy to to add or cancel my order he told me no.
I went in with my own food and asked lady to heat it up she had a nasty attitude mind you i work as a trucker i figured they might be a bit considerate and welcoming with also the idea to buy some meat as a side for my food that i wanted to heat up . Chunky brown skin lady at the registered had an awful attitude and could not accommodate me . Lost a potential customer and gained and awful review .
We came in at 8 on a Sunday and were told the kitchen was closed (understandable as most of the businesses on the street were already closed). I asked if they had anything quick by chance, maybe some empanadas. The gentleman (I believe the owner) said he could do that, and we ordered a beef, a chicken, and a cheese empanada. They were fried, super crispy and not at all greasy. The filling was so delicious, and came with plenty of sauce on the side. And at $2 each, it’s an absolute steal! Definitely go if you’re looking for delicious and well priced food 👍🏽
