Customer Reviews
This is a really nice hidden Indian spot that’s definitely worth checking out. We tried the veg Hakka noodles, dahi puri, and hariyali paneer tikka, and every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. The dahi puri was perfectly balanced, the paneer was soft and nicely marinated, perfectly spiced , and the noodles were comforting and satisfying. We also tried the thandai, which was refreshing and a great complement to the meal. Overall, we loved everything and would definitely come back to try more items from the menu. Chef is very passionate about the food. We had a good conversation with him and enjoyed our meal.
Don't be surprised with my rating not matching other reviewers. I have been reviewing Indian restaurants for vegetarian fare in the US for a while and do have my preferences based on a 5 point scale of not only food, service and ambience, but also pricing and ambience. Food here is spicy (even on request for my mild), super oily (taste can't be bought by just drizzling with oil). The owner Rahul is very friendly and creative. Service was outstanding. A very nice place with relaxing decor that welcomes you. Bathroom cleanliness was not too notch and for vestal. pricing was not acceptable. Not recommended
Visited Rasoi for lunch with my family. I went in thinking I'd get a wrap, but realized after we got there that the bowls and wraps are only weekdays during lunch, and it was Saturday. The host was really pushing the buffet and it admittedly looked very good, so we all decided to do the buffet. Their buffet had a slightly different selection than other Indian lunch buffets I’ve visited - a little more balanced between light food like idli vada and rich curries rather than focusing so much on curries. The buffet included a soft drink and fresh naan (choice of plain or butter) brought to the table. I really liked the different veg curries I tried; none of them were super hot but I thought they were a little spicier than the curries I usually find at these buffets, which is a good thing becau
I enjoyed the restaurant very much. I had the goat, I asked for spicy and that is exactly what I got. I did not pick up. Tears did not come to the eye the spiciness not only was flavorful, but had some heat to it. If you’re not familiar with eating goat, be prepared because goat always has a lot of bone to it. The naan bread is extremely flavorful. As soon as I sat down, the waiter came asking if he wanted any drinks, there was already bottled water on the table, which those of you who regularly read my refused know that I only drink water. The Samosa appetizer was freshly made, and the sauce was two different sauces in the same dish expertly platter. 1/2 was sweet. The other half was spicy. There were five pieces of Samosa, which was plenty for the two of us eating. There’s a 3 foot entry
Great customer service and very clean organized atmosphere. We visited on the new year day and they had lunch buffet. Food was pretty good. I would recommend their chicken 65, butter paneer, rice, veg chowmein, raita and nan, white rice. They had other many appetizers like pakoras, samosas and chicken wings. For desert they had gulab jamun and some kind of dry kheer. We all loved their Gulab Jamun a lot. Definitely recommend them. The server informed as regarding food quality; their nun does not contain yeast which is good for people with gastric or any stomach acid issue. Their planner tasted fresh as well as the Gulab Jamun. One of the positive aspects I found was the server asked all of us regarding food allergies beforehand which a lot of other Indian or Asian restaurants do not do/pra
