We strolled over after Fish Guts and enjoyed a cooling treat after a hot day. The mango shaved ice, avocado pistachio ice and coffee almond fudge all had great flavors. We got cookies to take home also (so good). I will definitely try the shaved ice next time around.
Really really delicious homemade ice cream! Just stumbled on this place and was pleasantly surprised by the flavors, kindness, and atmosphere. There’s a whole art gallery in there with gorgeous pieces for sale! I ended up having the elote and mazapan ice cream which sounds a little crazy but give it a try! It’s totally delicious. They have a small variety of flavors but the ice cream tastes so good you’ll be coming back for more. They even make fresh baked ice cream cookie sandwiches. I’m happy that this is local because I will be back.
I tried the Tamarindo sorbet and it was amazing if I do say so myself. Im an ice cream gal so I love the actual ice cream but the sorbet sold me. The mexican hot chocolate and coffee were good too.
I’ve been making my own ice cream since I got the Ninja Creami for Christmas. So it was nice to have some from a creamery. I’m also aware of ice cream ingredients and I like that this is on the lighter side. We were able to sample flavors. I ended up getting avocado pistachio. I didn’t taste much avocado, I think it was used as a base for texture. It did have a strong pistachio taste and had bits and pieces of pistachio. My friend got coffee and that was delicious. Had a mocha flavor. We both regret that we didn’t sample Mexican hot chocolate. They also serve drinks. As well as elote! I loved that they offer different cup sizes.
Oh my god the Mexican chocolate is the best I've ever had it was so soft but sweet. A great nostalgia reminds me of my grandmas chocolate. The employees were very nice. Did you see the art gallery in the back, it's worth a visit and the indie art is for sale.
