Rathbun's Maple Sugar House

Quaint & rustic setting, friendly & efficient service & delicious breakfast, especially the maple syrup. Dad & friend had fluffy,tender pancakes with eggs, sunny side up & bacon. I had thick cut French toast, crispy bacon & corned beef hash on the side. Definitely worth the one plus hour drive each way.

By far one of the best places for fresh pancakes, waffles, mostly syrup.. a cute little breakfast spot as well as store for anything syrup related!

If you want a true AUTHENTIC maple syrup breakfast in the middle of the New York here you go. The staff here is extremely friendly here! Don’t tell Vermont I crossed the border line to get over here, but I would definitely recommend this place again! Get here early before the crowd comes

Nice atmosphere, good location but painfully slow service, average (not great) food. This place has deteriorated in its efficiency and organization. Very frustrating to have to wait 15 minutes for a table when the place is half empty not to mention 45 minutes for the food to come out after waiting 20 minutes just to initially place your order. The pancakes were stodgy and not very flavorful. This place needs to step up its act or we are not returning!!!

We had a great time at Rathbun's when we visited. The service was amazing and they were great with our kids. This is a great experience for the family. This is in a remote location and all the locals know it. You can see how they make maple syrup and they sell it as well. It is 4 generations of family that run it and you can see the story of the family through the generations on site. You will love it.
