Absolutely epic omakase experience, highlighted by the culinary creativity and warm charm of the bright young star Chef Johnny and the warm hospitality of Jenis who attended to us throughout the entire 3 hour experience. We had a great crowd with us for our intimate 815pm seating, and felt like we bonded together throughout our shared journey. The superlative sake we chose helped too! Really great experience, can't wait to return.
A First Omakase Experience to Remember We had our very first omakase experience here, and honestly… it set the bar HIGH. Every single dish was unforgettable. All the tuna cuts were my absolute favorites — melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And the two broth dishes? One cold, one warm, both packed with so much flavor. The noodles were hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. The atmosphere felt like stepping into someone’s cozy, beautiful living room. It was intimate, warm, and the lighting set the perfect mood. Even the plateware and sake glasses were stunning — some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. I loved how they switched out the glasses depending on the type of sake — such a thoughtful touch. The sake pairing is also an absolute must. I was never a “sake person,” but this pairing c
What a great omakase experience!! Chef Johnny and his staff were so friendly and wonderful. We really enjoyed dinner at the sushi counter. The way the fish were cut and prepared really showed their skill. There was a good balance of flavors and dishes so the flavor variety kept it interesting. I especially loved the salmon toro and the akami tuna which melted in our mouth. It is well worth the money for the food and experience for a special night. Not overly pretentious and a smart casual dress code makes this an inviting place to have a good meal. Definitely check it out!!
Amazing sushi! I've been to numerous omakase experiences in the city, and this is easily one of the best. The food is simply incredible! The menu strikes the perfect balance of classic nigiri and different innovative dishes. Chef Johnny is the consummate professional, but is easy to talk to and will go out of his way explaining all the dishes. Stop reading this review and just go, now!
A delightful experience. We ate here for my friend's 30th birthday and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and chef Johnny was extremely welcoming. We loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The wine selections were great too. We would definitely recommend the omakase experience and will be back.
