Raymond Beach

Great little spot to stop and have lunch. Also appears like a great spot to launch your boat from as well. No public rest rooms but there are questionable porta-pottys. Not sure if you can fish from here, but I did see some.

Its a decent launch, with its limitations. For smaller crafts its pretty good all year. End of the year when lake level is down you do not want to be launching a big boat. busy summer days fill the parking lot, the launch is busy but it has two lanes.

Fell in love with the view. Had to pull over and take a picture of This beautiful sight. So happy I discovered this, very much relaxed, a decent size trail to walk along the Beach to the Boat ramp, and the beach was clean and the folks are very pleasant

Nice place for pictures in the evening when it's quiet, also during the day, there is swimming and an outhouse for changing or emergency for toilet use. There also is great parking and a boat launch. Did I mention how shallow it is for young kids! Beware of the ducks however if duck itch is a problem for you! You may not want to swim but enjoy the scenery just the same!

My only complaint is that the water is very very shallow and you have to wade out a long ways to get to cool water. Parking is limited but sometimes people Park off the hardtop on the other side of the road
