Ray's Pizza

We enjoyed the garlic knots with fresh garlic and fresh, delicious marinara sauce. My husband ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza and I got mushroom and onion (red and white). The ingredients were obviously all fresh, the crust hand tossed and cooked just right. The sauce and cheese were top notch and delicious. If you appreciate quality ingredients, you will enjoy this pizza!

Delicious local Italian joint. I used to go when Ray was out at St Juliens Creek. Now, this awesome place is 5 minutes from my house. I was thrilled to get good quality chicken with thick red sauce, not orange sauce. We ordered the pizza well done and got it like we wanted it. The cheese and pepperoni actually had flavor! We will be back!

Excellent New York style pizza. If you’re stuck at pizza plus take a break and give Rays a try. True Brooklyn New Yorker brining good pizza down south.

I left Ray’s feeling a bit underwhelmed. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza, antipasto salad, and garlic knots. The garlic knots were the highlight—flavorful thanks to the garlic, Parmesan, and oil—but they seemed like they had been microwaved. The salad wasn’t as fresh as I’d hoped, and the lunch meats were served warm, which was a little off-putting. The pizza was just okay. I was expecting more of a classic New York–style crust, but it was thicker than expected—possibly because I ordered a small. Overall, it didn’t quite meet expectations.. Overall, the service was decent. The lady at the counter and the gentleman who brought my food out were both friendly and courteous.

I’ve ordered from here a few times and each time has been fast, hot food, and delicious! I’ll drive past our local Pizza Plus for Rays everytime because their food is so much more affordable and higher quality. Their staff are absolutely the nicest people. The only negative thing would be in their oil and vinegar dressing they used vegetable oil rather than olive oil but that may have been a mistake. Everything else is delicious.
