Ray's Pizza

I stopped in for lunch on December 29th and it was such a great experience 😊 There was only one other person there so the place was quiet peaceful and honestly perfect. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza and they were absolutely amazing 🍕 So good that I wanted to order more but had to stop myself. Next time I am definitely getting extra to take home for later. The service was just as good as the food. The girl working was incredibly friendly helpful and welcoming which made the visit even better 😄 You can really feel the good vibes the moment you walk in. I was a little sad to see the raspberry tea was gone but a Pepsi still hit the spot 🥤 I live in Chandler so the drive is wicked far but this pizza is 100 percent worth it. This review is really a question. I ordered a large pizza and a calzone right after Agron sold the business. For what ever reason it was not the same taste that I loved when the previous owner had control of the menu. I have had to go to the other locations around the city that was close to what I loved. My question is, have you gone back to the original recipe, that I always loved or do I have to keep going to the other Ray's? You're about a mile away from where I live, so I'd prefer to visit your establishment.

The building itself is kinda cliche, I can’t lie. It’s NY style pizza and it’s got the mural of the NYC skyline on the back wall, but it’s cozy and has got a decent amount of room in it. As someone who grew up and spent the first 20 years of their life in NYC, it’s always a challenge to find good pizza anywhere else. I’ve tried almost 20 pizza joints since moving here and most suck, but this place is a hidden gem. It’s not *exactly* what I’m looking for, but it’s pretty darn close. Their pizzas are large, generously covered in whatever toppings you choose, baked to perfection, and taste amazing. They also have phenomenal wings. Ray's Pizza truly delivers an authentic New York pizza experience. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully chewy within. Each bite offers a delightful balance of tangy, savory sauce and perfectly melted, gooey mozzarella. It’s the kind of slice that makes you close your eyes and savor every moment. Absolutely a must-try for any pizza lover! Also the wings are very underrated and I believe them to be some of the best around, although there are many other places to try out, these are my favorite by far.
