My evening at Recette was truly exceptional — a perfect blend of cozy Brooklyn charm and lively bistro energy in the heart of Williamsburg. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, with great music setting a vibrant yet comfortable backdrop and a bar pouring fantastic, well-crafted cocktails that kick off the night beautifully. The highlight of the meal for me was the branzino — fresh, beautifully seasoned, and a standout dish that paired wonderfully with the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe of the space. In short: great drinks, delicious food, delightful music, and a cozy neighborhood spot that makes every visit memorable.

Went here with a group of 10 for NYE and we had a fantastic experience. The food and drinks were great, the interior was pretty and warm, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. The were very attentive, kind, and so accommodating. At the even of the meal, our server handed us a round of delicious grapefruit shots and took care in making non-alc versions for the people in our party who weren’t drinking, which was so fun and generous of them. Highly rec for a large group (~$50 pp without drinks, ~$75 pp with drinks). Thank you so much for a lovely time Recette!

Went for the valentines day prefixe menu. Delicious filet mignon. Lobster tail meat didnt easily fully come off as there was still meat that stuck on. Delicious food and the space was small but they fit in a lot of couples. Highly recommend for a nice brooklyn vibe for french date spot. Book way in advance for holidays!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent and our waiter Zdravko took great care of us. Very attentive, friendly, and professional. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back!!!

Food was great, atmosphere was amazing, and service was perfect. Came on a random Wednesday night for dinner with my girlfriend and was ecstatic to see a live band playing. Made the mood and environment so much better. The food came quickly and was all delicious. Our server Ana was even better. She always came and refilled our water at the perfect time. She constantly gave us clean plates and clean utensils. She had the perfect energy and the perfect attitude. I’ve only been here a few times, but I would come back solely on Wednesdays to hear the live band for the 10/10 service by Ana.
