We loved the food and the service! Our server was super nice and attentive. The birria ramen was delicious, also the spicy udon noddles were yummy! & of course our favorite the red 88 rice was delicious like always! We also had the fried ice cream and cheesecake for dessert and it was the cherry on top! We love red 88 #fmlred88 #red88davis @red88bar #buzzybooth

The happy hour specials are a great bargain. I loved the pot stickers for fifty cents. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sadly, the sales computer was having difficulty. I would recommend if you're not in a hurry.

I've been coming here for about 15 years. Now that we don't live in Davis anymore, we still stop by whenever we visit. The following dishes have always been consistently delicious: Red 88 fried rice with Asian sausage, and Spicy crispy eggplant. I have not been able to find a crispy eggplant like the one they make here! The ambience is great (we like to come here during slower days like Sunday since we just come for the food). During my college days I definitely enjoyed the alcoholic beverages they had here. Customer service can be a hit or miss depending on how busy it is but for the most part we always enjoy our experiences here.

ordered from Red 88 today through DoorDash. I got the eggplant tofu (spice level 3) and a lychee lemonade. The total was about $50. Unfortunately, the drink was missing entirely, and the food was very disappointing. The eggplant tofu was dry, bland, and lacked flavor, and the packaging was poor—it didn’t feel properly packed for delivery. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Missing items and tasteless food made this a frustrating experience. I hope the restaurant improves quality control and packaging, especially for delivery orders.

Really good service. Creative Mexican/Thai/Japanese infused food. My wife's loves this place. Their Miso burger is the bomb
