Great vibe inside. Clean and sharp. I like that a lot. Downsides. Cold as ice (on a 20 degree day). I did ask if they could turn up the heat, and they said there was a problem with the central air. Ugh. Coffee? Yummy. Downsides? No ceramic mugs. And the coffee wasn’t that hot. We ordered a black coffee and a cappuccino. Both were good. They had plenty of seating and a cool indoor vibe. Prices were pretty good compared to most independently owned coffee houses. And they didn’t charge me to steam the cream. But even with steamed cream, the coffee wasn’t that hot. Overall, meh, compared to legit (non-chain) coffee houses in Vancouver.
I really enjoyed this café. It’s cozy and pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. The coffee I ordered, a Medium Roast Cappuccino, was amazing — delicious, smooth, with a really nice aroma. It was such a pleasure! There is also a small children’s corner, so kids can have some fun while parents enjoy their coffee. I’m very happy with my visit.
It was my first time at this location and I like the interesting interior design. I had the Nervana latte which was very good. They were out of every gluten free pastry except for one and they don't sell the grasshopper cookie at this location which was my favorite thing to get at their cafes. They have a kids area and gender neutral restrooms. Indoor and outdoor seating. They have huge front facing windows which let in a lot of light but were difficult to sit across from since there aren't any blinds. The customer service was good
The food was awesome, and felt like a second home. And the drinks were the best. Usually the drinks I order are random and don't turn out good. I thought that they would not be to my taste, Oh but how wrong I was. The drinks were 20/10. Best out of the Best.
We absolutely LOVE Red Leaf and are so glad they are in Vancouver. We bring foster care kiddos here weekly to play and have some healthy, alternative option smoothies. The little play area tucked away in the corner gives us a quiet space to watch the kids interact while being supervised and still having fun. The baristas are always friendly and even remember our names now when we come in. We LOVE the holiday decor Red Leaf just put up! One downside is that if you don't show your rewards app for your points, you wont be able to go back and add them and you're just kind of out of luck. So don't forget to load your rewards app before ordering. Thanks for being here, Red Leaf
