Red Lobster

I came to this restaurant on my birthday and the experience was simply wonderful. The atmosphere is amazing and the service made all the difference — I was assisted by Pedro, who is such a lovely person, very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely make a point of coming back more often!

The last time we had eaten at a RL was Raleigh, NC 2015. The visit left us with not wanting to visit another, carpets needed cleaning (sticky) and the odor was one that seemed to be from aging or lack of care. We ordered drinks, what we felt was a safe appetizer and left. Fast forward, with new leadership we decided to give the Round Rock location a try. RL was near bankruptcy, bought out by a PE firm who installed a new CEO. Walking in, we were impressed, the floors were immaculate, and the carpet was as it should be, no food or crumbs anywhere in the dining areas. There was not a crowd, it was 3.30pm on Wednesday, after lunch crowd and before dinner. We came to celebrate a birthday, and we had a great experience. We had 12 in our party and were easily accommodated. We got the Monday special - lobster and shrimp - and the weekday shrimp trio - great bang for your buck. Our waiter, Fabian, was really attentive and brought all the cheddar bay biscuits we could eat 😆. He even brought out candles and sang with us when it was cake time.

Request Trey!! He was sooo patient with my kiddos and self! He genuinely was the best server I’ve ever had anywhere! Not once did my kids have to ask for his help because he was already on it! That man is definitely a gem!! Thank you soo much for a wonderful experience and dinner! Oh and I can’t forget the wonderful host he was also a hoot! Definitely will be back!

Can't remember last time I visited RL, but I'm glad we pivoted on a Friday night and just went for it.. Menu has changed a lot.. for the better.. cost is high, as expected, but that's ok because food was amazing so as service!
