Red Pier Cajun Seafood & Bar

I had a nice overall experience here. I was initially worried since one of the staff members approached me as though she would serve me but, amazingly, she did not speak English. My real server was excellent and considerate when he finally arrived. I order the fried gator. It could have been better, but the real order was the crab legs, mussels, and shrimp. I asked for hot and it was just that. I started sweating from the heat.

We enjoyed what was really a very nice meal tonight at Red Pier in Hot Springs! Jen's pick — my first time. I started the meal off right with a half dozen raw. They oysters were fresh and meaty, despite presenting in landlocked Arkansas. Served properly with fresh horseradish, lemon, and saltine crackers. Then l loved my shrimp boil with Red Pier's signature blend of cajun, lemon pepper and garlic butter. I opted to incorporate some heat with mine. I also enjoyed the tender yellow potatoes and corn on the cob included! It was a hit. Otherwise, several widescreen TVs were placed throughout the restaurant, showing sports and other programming. There's a nice bar too with ample selection. I also enjoyed the digital aquarium stretching across one wall of the restaurant.

I like new lunch menu for the sea food lover who work near by firms or deliver drivers. Only $13.99 for a wonderful lunch.

It was really busy with customer's. I felt bad for our waitress. She was way over loaded. The other staff that were Asian would stand around, watch the dinning area, and point out and tell her to do something instead of just helping do it. My wife and I spit the shrimp boil bag. With extra corn. Its decent food I guess.

The food was delicious! We went with a large group of people and they were short handed but accommodated us with ease! Highly recommend!
