Red Pig Bar-B-Q

I really hate leaving negative reviews! But the food was absolutely horrible! I ordered the pulled pork it was like dried mush! It was not fresh by any means! It was not only cold but extremely dry and over cooked! No flavor at all. My wife ordered a cheese burger with bacon It tasted funny! The bacon was definitely microwaved ! They charge extra for fries and you don't get much !

The Red Pig now offers pizza! And is good! It comes with chicken, beef or pork their barbecue sauce and cheese. You can also add a variety of extra toppings onto it. And it's an 18-in pizza for only $15!

I love the food but I just received such bad service I think I am done eating at red pig. I live in Raleigh my parents live in Abingdon va. When I visit I always drive to the red pig. I drove over to red pig today. The door was locked. A young man with several prison style tattoos came out side and very bluntly said we close at 4. I looked at my phone and it was 4:02. With this level of service I don't expect this restaurant to stay open much longer.

I was bringing it as soon as I walked in I had a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Red Pigs barbecue pizza! First time having it, the crust wasn’t too thick, perfect amount of sauce and loaded with pulled pork topped with mozzarella. I added banana peppers, onions, and bacon. Let me tell you the best barbecue pizza I have had. I had two slices of stuffed plenty of leftovers and I’ll be making sure to bring my family. My husband had the BLT on a croissant and he said it was delicious and recommends that also.

Seriously good barbeque in a fun setting. Friendly staff. Try to steamed deli sandwiches!
