Red Velvet Bakery

My first time visiting here was excellent. Family owned and local! They are such kind people with fantastic baked goods. I got a box of 4 cupcakes to take home and I ate an Oreo cheesecake slice while I was there. I also got the Red Velvet Cold Brew (10/10). I ended up staying a few hours - much longer than I expected, but it was a calm atmosphere with tables and comfy chairs. I was able to spend those hours focusing on some work and scheduling. I definitely plan on coming back. I think this is really a hidden gem that more people need to check out!

This place is locally owned and has the BEST cupcakes, cheesecakes and shakes in Arizona! The owners are amazing people and always makes us feel welcomed. It’s such a vibe coming in seeing the wall of flowers and paintings along the wall from a local artist. I highly recommend going to Red Velvet Bakery!

2/21/26: blink & you'll miss it. We did, even with Google maps. LOL! We completely missed their signage & went around the block. It's looks like a house, an unassuming house but what it has inside is utter deliciousness. :-) The parking off Central is extremely limited (maybe three spots), but as we were leaving, I saw what may be parking in the rear. I did read an old review stating there was, but that it was also a small lot. Just be aware that parking could be tricky. We arrived around 9:55 this morning & had the lot to ourselves -- their cupcake supply was limited (small variety, empty plates). Next time we have to get there earlier! The Red Velvet team is incredible! The bakery is so nice and well designed. The staff is amazing and the owners are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. - Now let’s get to the good stuff…the milkshakes and cupcakes! They are delicious it’s like I could taste every ingredient in the cupcake…one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. And the Red Velvet milkshake was so creamy and delicious! Super simple red velvet cake but the handwriting is beautiful. Most importantly- cake tastes amazing!! The buttercream and cake both perfect.
