RedEye Diner

I went with the country fried steak served with mashed potatoes and fresh fruit, and we finished the meal with a strawberry cheesecake for dessert, everything was absolutely incredible. The flavors were fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying, making each bite a treat. I also had a burger, and it might be one of the freshest I’ve had in years—the beef clearly tasted locally sourced and high quality. Every dish we tried was thoughtfully made, and the attention to detail really showed. The atmosphere added to the experience as well: calm, welcoming, and quiet, since we arrived just before the dinner rush. It felt like a perfect balance of excellent food and relaxed dining, making it a spot I’ll definitely return to for both casual meals and special treats.

We had the best experience at Red Eye Diner. Felix and Michael are truly great servers. Felix went above and beyond with hospitality and attention to detail. The shrimp and grits are so good, and we can't wait to come back to try the chicken and waffles. Thanks for the great food, atmosphere, and especially the service.

Andrea was our server and all I can say is wow!!! What a very well mannered young man! I got the California burger with fries and my husband got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and fruit we got a strawberry cheesecake for dessert and all I can say is the food was incredible. One of the freshest burgers I’ve had in a very long time the beef you could tell was locally sourced and very fresh the food all around was wonderful the atmosphere was great it was quiet but we came during hours right before dinner rush. This dinner is open 24 hours the staff was kind and the building was clean. What a great experience.

Redeye Diner in Charlotte, NC was amazing The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our waiter, Tom, was super friendly and made the experience even better. And their secret sauce… so good The Redeye Special Burger was on another level, easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again! 🍔✨

Wow. Just wow. Today I recommended to my friends after a laborious workshop that we go to Red Eye Diner, see, I've been to Red Eye before, and it has always been great, but tonight really blew me away. The service (Mike) was absolutely outstanding. Our server went above and beyond to make sure our table was not only entertained, but beyond satisfied. I wanted a cup of lemons? I got a cup of lemons. I wanted ANOTHER cup of lemons? (Fig 1) I got ANOTHER cup of lemons, and i LOVE lemons. Ive been to so many other diners which had never in the past provided me with as many lemons as i liked. The service was so good that Max and the Charlottes (my band)'s return to Red Eye is guaranteed.
