Red's Smoking BBQ

I got the four meats plate with brisket and carnitas as well pork ribs and chicken, then the sides green beans also cream corn. The service was amazing, and the guy was cool down to earth as my buddy and I placed our orders separately as I explored the smokers and just looked around for a second. Total cost 48 something, once I got home I tried the bbq sauce as it was tasting to me a sweet maybe mesquite flavor with a tangy mix but the texture was like apple sauce. I tried all the meats before the sauce, and without the sauce, the brisket wasn't holding much flavors or anything smokey tasting, which made me think it's something I could get at the store type quality because the meat wasn't truly tender or moist and even the fat couldn't save it, with the sauce it made it worse Then, the ch

So the food is great but this place is tucked away in a residential community. Its a good truck on dudes lawn.. There is no inside dining room, napkins, condiments, silverware/plastic ware, etc. available. There is plenty of outdoor seating. You place an order, most folks order to go, take a sit and dude brings out your food. And cash only with limited parking.

The bbq joint is located within the neighborhood and can easily (not easily) overlooked when driving by. The family that runs this place is very friendly and humble. The food was amazing and the prices for bbq was better than what other places charge. They do have seating on site, but we got it to go since it was over 100 outside. The food tasted and looked amazing. Will definitely be coming back. The brisket was good. The chicken was amazing.

We have great BBQ here in Pflugerville! Got ribs, sausage, and 2 brisket sandwiches, one chop and one sliced, which were quite large and stuffed with meat. Got the potato salad too, they were all fantastic. We have plenty of leftovers, It is a neighborhood walk up trailer, fast service, came with great sauce and all the fixins. Will be back for sure, nice folks serving up great food!

Hidden in the cusp of Pflugerville is this absolute GEM of a barbecue truck. The brisket, ribs and breakfast tacos were absolutely amazing. What really makes this such a great restaurant is how sweet the owner and daughter were. They are truly genuine and love what they do - and it clearly shows! I highly recommend this place and am tempted to host a party JUST so I can have them cater it. I'm definitely going back and highly recommend.
