Rem Roc's Fried Chicken and Soul Food

If you are in Pittsfield MA and looking for some good food or soulfood, this is the place to go. It's a cute restaurant in the downtown area. There is ample parking as the store is located right next to a parking lot. Navigation was easy from the hotel as it was about a 10 min ride. The owners we nice and friendly. Place was clean. The owner seems to be a basketball fan as there were a lot of sports memorabilia on the walls. It is handicap accessible as well. The food was delicious. Serving size was filling. Options to choose from was two meats and two sides for about $15 or one meat and two side for about $10. They also, have specials available as well. If I'm in that area again, I will go back. Very pleased with my first time visit.

The rice is hard. The Mack and cheese don't have any cheese or taste, no gravy on the rice, the chicken need more seasoning. It's very raw. The quality is very poor for a Jamaican restaurant. Presentation poor. Tasteless food. What is on the flyer is not want you are getting. I have to use my own rice and recook the chicken...review your cook because, I don't understand what is it you are giving me a Caribbean woman to eat.

The chicken tenders, mac & cheese, and chicken stuffed waffles are delicious! My kids said “Mom, where did you get this? This is the best!” Can’t wait to try some different items on the menu as well. Also great portions for the price!

Whenever I’m looking for comfort food I call Rems! Delicious every time, follows special instructions promptly, I recently had the curry chicken for the first time and omg it’s definitely my new fav. Great food and friendly service!
