Rendez-Vous Bakery and Bistro

A French bakery-bistro offers several options for a casual lunch in a friendly and warm atmosphere. I tried the Quiche Lorraine and a Jambon Fromage Panini. Even though the Panini was tasty, the Quiche disappointed as it did not feel fresh, missing the characteristic fluffiness of the dish. Service was attentive.

So love the restaurant. Our server worked so hard and was very friendly. The food is delicious. See the attached picture of the short ribs. Nice atmosphere with a good wine list and very reasonable prices. Also it is quiet so my mom could easily enjoy the conversation. This was my third visit and it won't be my last.

$7 for a mini cake, super fresh, light not over sweet. No random ingredients trying to go viral or explode on TikTok. Just good baking done right. Lemon raspberry was tart, and omg just happy to not have wasted money !!! Will be back to try other flavors

Our server was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere seemed pleasant but we had a scrambled egg dish and omelette with baguette. The eggs were incredibly dry, overcooked seemed like they were cooked in a mold. The baguette was cold like it recently came out of the fridge. If you’re going to do French food—you’re gotta do a good omelette and offer a decent bread product.

I went around lunch time to try something new that I always pass when traveling down the road. The Friand which is a mushroom chicken puff pastry appetizer was pretty decent. I wish the pastry was more flaky and the food was served hot . The curry chicken pot pie was not curry in my opinion and needed salt and pepper. That dish needs to be revamped and served again . Also the pastry on the pot pie was really hard and not flaky practically rubbery. Also they gave me way too much salad for two dishes it’s like they put a whole bag on both dishes. I would love to try this place again in the future. Also for one person you looking to spend 40 dollars which in my opinion is a lot and not worth the 40 dollars being spent.
