Not the best smelling restroom, but it does have its own shack. No running water, toilet paper, and beware of the smells. But it's a composting toilet which is cool!
Please understand that the Appalachian trail is managed entirely by volunteers. I'll be heading here from the parking lot soon, and I have an extra gallon of water. Since it is composting, I don't know if any chemicals should be used. Is there a broom in the privy for tidying up after use?
