I made a same-day reservation for Sunday tea at Reynolds Tavern, and honestly, I couldn’t have made a better decision. The staff was incredibly accommodating to me and my friend despite the short notice, and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The food was delicious. I liked it so much I ended up taking home a six-pack of scones. Our waitress was fantastic: super informative and patient with our million questions. The vibe is very classic, old-timey tea time, and I loved that everyone’s teacups and China were unique. It made the experience feel extra special! Since I’m more of a coffee girl, I ordered the French press coffee, and it was so good. My favorites were the chocolate chip scones and the cucumber sandwiches. I’ll definitely be going back the next time I’m in Annap

This was our second two-night stay at the Reynolds Tavern. It is really like stepping back in time, with period-piece furnishing and what appear to be original wide-plank floors. The rooms are spacious and the inn-keepers are gracious, and the outdoor beer garden right there is so quaint! Breakfast is delicious each morning, with French-press coffee in the tea room, and they are very accommodating with special requests. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, so know that going in, but you get free water (bubbly and still), and of course there's wifi and tv for modern amenities. The bathrooms are fine! It can be a bit of a challenge to find an outlet to charge your phone, but they're there. Lastly, you get a little discount card for the parking garage, which is very close, and they

I visited Reynolds Tavern yesterday for my first-ever high tea, and it exceeded every expectation. I chose the tea option that included two scones one plain and one cranberry orange served with house-made clotted cream and jam. The scones were outstanding: fresh, perfectly baked, and honestly the best I have ever had. The clotted cream was rich, smooth, and exactly what proper high tea should include. I genuinely do not think I will be able to enjoy just any scone after this experience. I paired everything with an oolong tea variation, which was the perfect match. It was served with what appeared to be their own homemade sugar cubes, a small detail that made the experience feel thoughtful and elevated. To start, I had a cup of the cream of crab soup. It was petite in size but big o

We had a really wonderful dinner in the dining room followed by drinks and dessert in the pub. Our servers were great. We loved the steak frites, shrimp and scallops and salmon risotto. Cream of crab was delicious but a little cold. Old fashioned and Aperol spritz were great. The pace of service was quick for ‘fine dining’ but we weren’t rushed out. Noah Teague Booz performing live was delightful. 100% recommend coming just for the vibes - oil lamps on the tables, fire in the fireplace. Perfect date night spot on a cold winter night. I super appreciate that you cannot hear the pub in the dining room. All of the spaces were pretty bright - good for accessibility but maybe took away from the ambiance. This is not a place for children. Can’t wait to come back!

I have been going to Reynolds Tavern for over 10 yrs. Unfortunately, I recently had a disappointing experience due to poor customer service. About a month ago, I called them to ask if they ship tea locally and they said yes. I placed my order and provided my phone number, email address and credit card. Two weeks went by. I called back to find out the status of the order and they said my card was invalid, which was simply untrue and could only mean they incorrectly entered the credit card information. Nevertheless, no one informed me despite having my contact information. . The person on the phone rechecked my card and there wasn't anything wrong with it. She said they would place my order then next day but that did not happen.I called a few days later and asked to speak with a manager jus
