RG Burgers and Grill

Ordered Smokey Joe Classic and Garbage Plate. Burger was good size, patty was thick. Chili fries were good. Garbage plate was also good. The side of macaroni was pretty good also. Good prices for what you get.

This is the 100th restaurant/fast food I’ve tried in 2 states ever since I’ve moved to Texas back in 2021, and it’s also the 4th local restaurant that I’ve ranked as a 5/5 (the others being Scotty P’s, The Londoner, & Enzo’s NY Pizza). This place has a unique look to it, very friendly service, and delicious food. The steak fries were cooked very well, and the chicken tenders were very good with the flat breading and fresh white meat. Easily one of the best restaurants in Denton and a fantastic way to reach a new milestone after 4 1/2 years.

Cute place! Very home-y and I enjoyed the decor and the fact that this placelikes to preserve it's history. My burger was also great! Our food was also ready quickly and the servers were great. I definitely recommend for a good burger!

The restaurant was nice. It was clean. Our waiter was real nice. The chairs need to be tightened. They’re wobbly. The iced tea was excellent. Onion rings were ok. Fries were good. It was all good except for one big thing…I ordered the super hot burger that is on the menu They say it has infused habaneros and ghost peppers 🔥 blah blah blah I mean, was expecting an extra HOT 🥵 burger. It was not hot. Don’t order it. I was expecting a runny nose, a red face, burning lips etc. Take it off the menu RG. People who want hot/ spicy food know hot. It was Disappointing for the HOTHEADS like me.

It is a no frill and quality food place. Such places a becoming hard to locate especially around north TX. The service was good. The seating is comfortable. They have a good layout catering to patron size. The quantity to cost ratio is correct. The quality is also very good. The burger bun is unique. Fries are tasty. I would be very surprised if you don’t visit again and try all their menu. It is a staple burger joint. We will visit again.
