Ria Restaurant

Is it normal for a Ritz-Carlton restaurant to have confusing menus and indifferent service? Our dinner at Ria tonight felt like a complete waste—unfortunate, especially on day one of our stay. We were excited for a well-executed Hispanic meal but left disappointed and confused. The $80 ribeye was just a basic steak, served with three tortillas and a few sauces—no explanation, no context. Our server made no effort to guide us or set expectations, and overall seemed disengaged. Some bright spots: the chips and guac were solid, and the hamachi crudo was nicely done. But my wife’s salad was mostly thick stalks with hardly any leafy greens, and my daughter’s steak was tough and chewy. My ribeye was cleared before I even had a chance to snap a photo. There was also no pre-bussing—empty dishes

Must Do. This is a restaurant in the hotel that is a treasure. The food is exceptional. The empenadas were unbelievable. Even the deserts (which I rarely eat) were over the top tasty. Though I am a sucker for Flan.. The service is also very tight, friendly, and attentive. When I add friendly to the service, you will certainly enjoy yourself. The location allows for outside dining in an environmentally controlled location. Enjoy.

Fantastic food. Flavorful, fun takes on traditional dishes. Balanced flavors and fresh ingredients speak for themselves, from drinks to food.

Shrimp tacos came to the table at just tge right temperature. The Caesar salad came to the table cool and crisp. Two thumbs up for both. The staff was very attentive and Jenny stopped by to greet me. Worth the visit. Give Ria a try. Cheers.
