Rib City - Santa Barbara

Will never eat here again. He ordered to go. I got the chicken and sliced beef with baked beans and salad which the salad was an up charge. The lettuce was barely edible. Very guilty. The slice beef was absolutely disgusting gray and tasted gross. My Husband got the beef brisket, which was also gray with no flavor. The beans were OK. The only thing that was really good was the toast in my child’s applesauce

Range of ages from toddler to grandparents enjoyed the meal. Staff were incredibly patient with toddler. Sides were extremely good. Oddly enough the name sake of ribs were one of the only things keeping this from a 5 star review as they were burnt. My briscit was also somewhat cold by the time it was served, but it was delicious and I could have asked for it to be warmed up.

Pretty good place. Staff was nice and my whole family got everything in a reasonable time. My dad's ribs were dry and unpleasant, and I expected the brisket on my sandwich to be shredded - instead it came in large chunks, making biting into it unpleasant. Besides this, my sister, brother in law, and mother all enjoyed their meals respectively. The tables have three unlabeled barbecue sauces - one is light red with a vinegary sting (my favorite!), one is thick and brown and reminds me more of a chili sauce. The third sauce is a safe bet, a smoky and sweet classic barbecue sauce. All were fun to try!

We took mom here for her 75th bday dinner. She always chooses Rib City. The waitress was great but the food was awful. We have to send back 3 different meals, out of 9, one meal came out 10min later than everyone else’s. The waitress apologized and said that only 1/2 the grill was working which is why some of the food was cold. The whole experience was disappointing. We were all looking forward to good food and celebrating mom but unfortunately that was not the case. Only one meal was taken off the bill, I feel more should have been done. If we are fortunate to celebrate 76 with mom, we will urge her to try a different place. This experience was very disappointing

Ordered the farm with ranch it was phenomenal. Our server was attentive and made sure my drink never ran low. Took dessert to go for a midnight snack yum yum 10 out of 10 will be back
