Rice Wok

Rice wok used to be a go-to of ours but feels like it has gone downhill. The prices went up, (the prices are still not awful comparatively to other Chinese places) and the quality of the food seems to have gone down. The service is always quick though. The past couple times getting the Lo Mein it seems like the noodles are lower quality and taste more bland. It’s not a bad dish, just not as good as it used to be. This was our first time getting the sweet and sour chicken and we will definitely not be getting that again. The chicken itself was bland. The batter was bland. The sauce needed vinegar or anything to make it “sour”. I’ve heard that the owners are in charge of Asahi, which is next door, (not sure how true that is…) but if so, that place is 100% a recommendation of ours.

I showed up late on Christmas Eve and they were absolutely swamped. Despite this, they were kind and helpful. The prices were great and the food was awesome. The shrimp tempura and fried rice were my favorite! Glad to have a regular place to go in Orem. :)

I’ve been coming here for years! All the food is SO good, the staff is very friendly. I would recommend take out, the seating is very limited, and the sun makes it pretty warm.

Help the paying customer at the window first. I was made to wait through 2 phone orders before I was able to pay and pickup my order that was ready. You had 2 people working up front, one of them should be helping the customer with money in hand waiting to pay!

Always fast. Always friendly. Take a menu home and order using the menu item number, it goes really fast. Their time estimate is usually long so you can go in before the full 20 minutes or so and your food will most likely be ready. It is on the east side of the street. Portion sizes are pretty big for how much you pay. I recommend this place for fast, plentiful, non-gourmet Chinese food. See my pictures of what we ordered.
