Customer Reviews
Yes it is a little pricey for sure, but it is a treat. Got an order of pancakes. Nice flavor fluffy, not too fluffy, had a little bit of denseness to them. Good. Ask for extra extra butter, not a problem. Sausages were good, fantastic flavor. Not grainy or grisly at all. Service was nice. Very attentive. But I did get there at seven thirty in the morning, and there was only a couple other tables.
Wonderful Experience,I was truly impressed by this place! The staff was incredibly friendly, with the most attentive and knowledgeable servers. Jesus, my server, was exceptionally polite and helpful, making sure every detail was perfect. The coffee was excellent, rich and flavorful. The apple sauce was amazing, a perfect balance of sweetness. The German pancake was, as always, fantastic! The crepe was decent, though the spinach had a slightly off taste, but overall, still enjoyable. This place is a gem for breakfast lovers, and I will definitely be back!
Walker Brothers Pancake House in Crystal Lake is hands down one of the best breakfast spots around! The pancakes are perfectly fluffy, flavorful, and generously portioned, and everything on the menu is consistently delicious. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive, even during busy mornings. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place for families or a relaxed weekend breakfast. You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. Always worth the wait and a must-visit if you’re in the area!
Server was great. Food tasted fine. Had the chubby burger. Asked for medium RARE where it is bloody. See picture- is that medium rare? Fries were fine, not fries from Germany which are Awesome, everytime. Here's a kind cooking staff. If you get a request for medium Rare, you can't un cook it. Start it last of the entire order so it doesn't sit under a heat lamp cooking to a unedible WELL. The photo is deceptively making it look like there was pink in it. NOPE.
I found the prices too high for an omelette especially if you can only choose one option as a side (pancakes, hashbrowns, toast). There are plenty of other places in the area where you get hashbrowns and toast or pancakes. I had a brunch cocktail, omelette and pancakes and spent $48 with tip. It was average food in my opinion. I can see the draw if you're big into pancake options such as Dutch pancakes etc. I probably won't be back. Service was fine and there's plenty of space but I felt it wasn't worth the price.
