Richmond Public Library - Auditorium Temporary Branch

An apparently mentally ill patron kept making racist comments on me for more than 10 minutes. I reported her to the front desk and the safety guard. They told me I was the third person reporting this patron today. Very sweet, patient, responsible, efficient, and supportive librarians and safety guard here. I really appreciate how quickly I got my library card, that they gave me a packet of very useful info cards along with my new library card, and that they responded to my report of a racist incident I encountered immediately. Great job! Thank you!

They gave me information about Talking Books for Seniors. Seniors who have difficulty navigating Digital machines such as cd/dvd/ machines that may require charging. This is a easier way for the elderly to navigate through new technology.

One of our favorite things to do as a family is go here for a few hours. The kids librarians are so kind and love their jobs. The catalog and checkout are easy to use, and we never leave without a good selection to take home. Greatly appreciate our local library!

Helpful staff including Security. I witnessed a librarian go out of her way to track down a laptop for an elderly lady to borrow. Friends of the library is a nice little book store with interesting books at reasonable prices as well.

It was my first time visiting this library it was larger then most I've seen. The children's area I like an will bring my (Grandchildren) to explore to their 💕 (Hearts content) there is a large variety of assorted 📚 's(Book's) different languages to learn! The Staff was very knowledgeable in their (Field of expertise)! So what are U all waiting for come on down to (Richmond Library located at 325 Civic Center Plaza) Cross street is Civic Center & Nevin. God 🙌 Bless U all.
