Ricos Tacos

The food was amazing. The gentlemen at the counter was super kind and brought us our food to the table. My favorite menu item was the super taco. The quesadilla was crispy!! The nachos were so loaded. I will be coming back again from Idaho when I visit California.

Service was good- friendly and efficient. The carne asada soft tacos were good but maybe a little light on filling. The green hot sauce in the refrigerator is great.

If you want the BEST TACOS in SJ, this is the place to go! The super taco with carne asada is on point!

$13.43. Chicken Flauta Combo. Litterally watery frijoles. Fake Guac, (mayo with green dye?). 3 horrific little taquitos way worse than frozen walmart taquitos. Less than one ounce of chicken total. Bland Spanish rice was the best part of the meal. "Waitress" does tiny amount of set up at your table then you go get your own food. Paying when you order now includes the ubiqitous solicitation for a tip before you have seen your food or experienced any service. No way no tip. Like $3.50 worth of food for quadruple that amount. Oddly, place full of happy hispanic diners who, apparently, can't tell how bad it all is. Could be same as a $1.50 plate in Mexico? Try elsewhere if you care about good food or good money. Positive reviews here are absolutely false.

A Carnitas, a lengua, and a Chile Verde tacos. Overall OK. The meats were savory and juicy but a tad over salted. They don't use shredded cheese, instead use slices of Monterey Jack cheese that melts on the hot tortillas. They also have a $10 minimum for credit. The chips are fresh, the salsa mild, and the chicken tacos my wife and son had, excellent.
