Rise & Grind Coffee

A new brick-and-mortar coffee shop that converted from a food truck. Yeah!!! A nice addition to the neighborhood with early hours, so it's an easy stop on your way to work in Athens in the morning. From my experience, the espresso drinks are excellent, and BONUS... Jackie O's Bakeshop is supplying all the baked goodies. This morning, I had a delicious freshly baked black current scone.

I have to be honest I didn't care for their coffee when they had the truck but I was stuck at the laundromat in desperate need of a coffee so I gave them another chance at the store and lo and behold it was an amazing cup of coffee! Very friendly and super fast with my order, granted it was just a small latte and nothing else, decent sugar free options on syrups too. Wish they had sip lids instead of straws. Definitely recommend.

Great new coffee shop,awesome drinks,and the turkey Chipotle Ranch sandwich might be my favorite sandwich in town!!!

The service was so friendly and my drinks are always delicious! I recommend the iced Snickers latte :)
