Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken - San Diego

A friend recommended this place and I already started spreading the word. This place was exactly what they said it was going to be there cheddar biscuit is buttery and delicious the size didn’t disappoint either. The parking is very very limited and you order either ahead online or use the kiosk. I recommend the bacon, cheese and egg biscuit. We got the cinnamon biscuit roll and blueberry biscuit that was a hit. My husband got the sausage blueberry biscuit and was in blueberry heaven.

The biscuits are perfect in texture and butteriness. This is my first time trying grits so I can’t speak of their authenticity but will add that they made a great introduction. The gravy is vegetarian friendly and not over-peppered which I appreciate! My spouse tried two of the biscuit sandwiches and said they were both delicious as well. We’ll be back soon! :)

Carolina girl to my core- Homesick real bad, so today I got as close to NC and my Aunt Mildred's homemade biscuits as I could. I had the Fried Green Tomato with Pimento Cheese on a buttermilk biscuit. I went back inside to hug the lady who made it- I literally cried it was so good. THANK YOU RISE for reminding me of home, I'll be back as often as I can.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Chicken sandwich - It taste aI’ll natural and healthy. From the chicken, to the lettuce, to the tomato. The blueberry biscuit - I added eggs and cheese. It was so good. The blueberry biscuit wasn’t to sugary. It was perfectly sugared. Better than any fast food breakfast I’ve had in decades. The freshness and natural ness was so good. I had to order another blueberry biscuit because it was so delicious.

Quality quality quality! Can't believe it took me this long to come here! Came here with my buddy, I got the righteous chicken sandwich and the tree hugger. Both were amazing, right then you take a bite you can taste the freshness. They make all their biscuits in house same day! The gravy on the tree huger was so good! My buddy got the which came first box and it looked so yummy he loved it! He also got the Nashville hot chicken biscuit! I got the breakfast sausage biscuit to go and it was amazing also ! He said it was amazing! Definitely coming back here to try more items! They have inside dinning and their restaurants was clean which is always a plus!
