Ristorante Gemelli

Have been going for years with work for our annual Christmas party. Always loved the food and the staff is great. Decided to have our wedding dinner there last year with a small group of our favorite people. We had an amazing time. Just went for our one year anniversary - fantastic as always. ♡

A bit of a disappointment. Chicken Marsala was two very thin small pieces of chicken breast, a potato crocket and spinach for almost $30 A tiny loaf of bread for five people. Rice ball appetizer was small balls the size of a quarter covered in way too much mozzarella.and some bacon. Don’t think I ever found the rice ball in there. I felt like they skimped on everything. A step above is the best way to describe Gemelli's... Nicely decorated, with table cloths, and Tuscany decor, gives a cozy comfortable feeling! Sets the atmosphere up for a special experience. In addition to the basic ( somewhat limited) Italian menu offered they always have many special dishes to add a nice variety whenever you visit. Of the two delicious entrees we chose one was from the regular menu, the Linguini Vongole-Fra Diavolo was nicely topped with medium sized clams on a bed of pasta and very tasty, perfectly spiced red sauce! The other was from the specials for the day, the fresh Sea Bass, topped with shrimp, tomatoes, sliced red peppers, garlic sauce just superbly balanced out all these flavors making this dish a pleasantly enjoyed favorite! The owner or man whoever he was couldn’t control the three men that were sitting at a table, cursing up a storm talking about their sex, lives, motels, etc. When we approached him, he was like I can’t do anything about it. Instead, he stood there, talking to them, enjoying the conversation. Although the food was excellent, I will never be back there not one second of my life will be spent there because they were totally disrespectful.. All the customers agreed on my way out.

First, the service was outstanding! We weren’t waiting long for anything and the staff was warm and personable. Having said that, the food is still outrageously overpriced. $35+ for mains that have little to no flavor. If management is reading, maybe a little bit more time spent on flavor and a little less time spent on making sure the Ferrari is sitting out front.
