Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Nice place. Very busy. No indoor seating. They had seats outside. I ordered the lime misto shake and a cherry concrete shake. Both very good. Very fast and quick service. And this place has an "A" rating with health department.

The options are amazing! I loved the Oreo milkshake and vanilla custard they were literally the best I EVER tasted! 😋😋😋 I definitely recommend this place. The other reviews honestly shocked me because my experience was the total opposite including customer service there was a very nice young lady with dark hair that has a baby who was very patient and helpful.

Terrible! Would give a 0! Today I went to Rita’s at Ave M and ordered a sundae this sundae includes a cherry, whipped cream and special toppings. The sundae on the advertisement is much bigger than how it looks in reality I ordered a twist with chocolate chips and Oreos since most of the toppings were out of stock and would be back in stock in about a month, but that wasn’t the problem the service man served me the ice cream after I told him it was a sundae he didn’t even bother to add a cherry and I had to remind him! After that I asked hey where is the whipped cream? He said they are out of stock I didn’t say anything and thought he would charge less since most of the items on that ice cream weren’t complete, but he charged a whole $7.25 for that cheap knock off of an ice cream. It's Rita's and their location is convenient, that's about it. This particular location rarely has any of the flavors or items they offer. The last time I went they didn't have butter pecan custard, cones, waffle bowls, or water even though they are posted on their window! The teens that work there have little personality and could be more friendly to customers instead of having a blank expression on their face with everyone.
