Riverside Cafe

UPDATE, return visit Oct 2025. 3rd time, put a smile on my wife's face BEFORE she even got her food😁🤔🤯. 2nd time from Eastern NC while visiting. Friendly staff, decent food. Cook wasn't as good as first visit, our eggs were "cold" and over cooked. My french toast was tasty, grits were cold though.

First time trying out Riverside Cafe today. The people and atmosphere were great! I got the baked ham and cheese omelet with a side of potatoes and onions. All of it was delicious. The potatoes and onions took me back to my childhood. 😋 My biscuit was okay but I'll probably try the toast next time. It wasn't as light and fluffy as I usually like. Our waitress and the young lady at the cash register were both very nice. We'll definitely go back. Lol. I'm sure my youngest will want to try the chocolate chip pancake.

Came across this cute dinner, was looking for grilled chicken biscuit and did they deliver! Everyone was welcoming. Ordered to go but once I got in the car I had to taste and it almost disappeared on the spot … yum!

Great little diner. Really the biggest flaw is more parking than seating so I can imagine it l can get rough to get in during rushes but we squeaked in. Food was great, staff was friendly.

Probably one of the most down to earth wholesome places I have been in the United States. Food was great. I could explain but this post would be so long because I ordered too much and ate it all. If I travel that way again I'll stop and probably drive a little out of my way to go again it was so good.
