Really disappointed with this place. I had to wait a while just for someone to come from another store to take my order. The sandwich was tiny — just a small piece of chicken and that’s it. The fries looked like leftovers and barely filled the box. I paid $11.99 for what felt like half a meal. The staff wasn’t friendly or professional, and even the fountain drink tasted bad. Definitely not coming back.

The food here was delicious. The restaurant itself is pretty small and there are only a few tables. The sandwiches are large and very filling. I had the medium spice level and I could probably have gone a little hotter, but the spice to flavor ratio was very good. My kids had the nuggets, which were also a good size. They were real pieces of chicken and very flavorful. They give you a lot of fries with an order of fries and they are very good as well. The only downside was that they didn't offer a meal combo which made the price pretty expensive for a family of six once you factor in drinks and fries. Overall I would say the food was very good though.

The food was amazing! I ordered the honey butter and my husband ordered the club. It came with 2 pieces of chicken on both sandwiches. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I chose mild heat and it was just the right amount of spice and flavor. I wish we had a location in North Carolina.

The “medium” left my lips burning and the sandwich we were served was so hot that burning oil squirted out and hit my face. I thought 3 tenders for $9 was a tad pricey and that doesn’t include a side or drink. Add a side and drink and it was $20. Not my favorite hot chicken. Dave’s is way better. I will say the fries were pretty good and so was their sauce.

I was in the mood for some Nashville Hot Chicken and decided to try Roaming Rooster. I went in at about 6PM and the place was dead. I put in two orders, one for some tenders and one for a sandwich. The tenders I ordered medium and the sandwich I asked for Extra Hot. It took them 20 minutes to make my order despite being the only customer. We took our order home and the allegedly "Extra Hot" was no different whatsoever from the medium hot tenders. The food was decent, but they charge a ridiculous premium ($30 for a sandwich, 3 tenders, and a fry) over places like Chick Fil A, so I would expect something authentic. The spice and flavor profile of the food was bland and not at all what I'd consider spicy. Clearly the people preparing the food paid zero attention to me wanting it extra
