Get your facts straight! Robert’s Soul Food is not to be played with!!! This food was so on point! Omg that dressing made me mad I didn’t go here for the holidays. The seasoning on the chicken was beyond amazing and it was fried to perfection. I ate the skin then the chicken and it was good to the bone. My husband got the cabbage and he loved it. I of course had to try the Mac and cheese. It was crispy on the top layer but it was creamy and cheesy where it counts. You get all of this plus a biscuit or a roll for $9.99 when you get that Tuesday special. The specials change daily and the sides are unbelievable. They also had corn, black eyes peas and that peach cobbler had me ready to give up on my new year resolution it looked so good! Got to check it out when you want a real meal for unbea

Long as I waited the food should have been freshly cooked I had porkchop breakfast. It was a old cooked pork chop soon as I bit it the whole skin came off the meat was thin and overcooked yesterday. Like I said I waited a minute not to have freshly cooked pork chop..I was disappointed although it has the potential to be great.. the grit and egg was the only thing I ate a li bit of.. i really wanted the pork chop because I haven't had it in a while my husband doesn't eat pork so I was a bit excited to get some pork chops

I'm in my 40's and I have been coming here since I was a kid in elementary school. Is the place outdated? Sure. Is the service sometimes slow? Sure. This is a MOM and POP restaurant. Adjust ur expectations. Everyone that works there are elders. They not gonna move fast this isn't "fast food". This place feels like u going to ur grandmama house in the country. The food taste like it too. Very good all the time. Today I got fried chicken, rice and gravy, Mac n cheese. Thank you guys ALWAYS for ur warm hospitality and years of good food service 💛

I ordered the 2 piece tilapia dinner it came with 2 sides. I had turnip greens and Mac n cheese. Also order a side of salmon steak. The fish was hot , seasoned and good. The turnips were great add a little hot sauce. The Mac n cheese wasn't good it was noodles and cheese no cohesion like they weren't mixed together. The corn bread was hard I couldn't eat it. The Salisbury steak has potential with a little rice and salt and pepper.. overall I like the fish and greens

I am actually a chef and I've been to a lot of private owned restaurant call Mom and Pop restaurants but 3 years ago I got introduced to Robert's chicken best damn chicken ever had, it's not a black thing or a white thing but you don't even need hot sauce the chicken is perfect. POV, if you taste one piece in the store your carrier will not make it home you might want to even make it out in the parking lot.😁😆😅🤣😂
