I would rate this place 0 stars if possible. First of all it’s practically a homeless shelter and filled with people with ankle monitors. The children’s section is hellacious. Absolutely nothing for children to do, no fun centers, toys, nothing. The toddler board book selection is really something. Out of all the different genres, pride, is definitely the largest. They have a book on gay animals, The Gay B, Cs, The Nonbinary Baby, a book on pronouns and more on families with same sex parents. This is not the norm at all and libraries in Fayetteville do not have this same selection. Who is bringing their 2 year old in to read about pronouns? The story-time held by the man is awful. They also rarely have events for kids which you typically would see other places. The librarian here is just t

My son's first time today. He has Autism and he loves me reading to him. His face was priceless to see when he seen the children's section. I must say I was too. It was so bite of colors and a big selection of books and the whole place was so clean. His favorite was the computers, and tablets in the childrens area. He did so well for me while I picked him some new books for us to read. He was happy to finally get his on library card and he checked his own book out. The ladies working there where so kind and to us. We will be coming back alot more for sure.

My kids love story time. It's always quiet. There's loads of books, games, and resources to choose from. They also offer use of computers and paid printing. Only thing is they only take cash. It would be nice for them to update their payment system.

Management is prompt; but I feel the staff isn't well versed for all age groups. Also, I think the staff should make the customers aware of all the policies. Ive been attending this library since I was a teenager,, moved and then moved back.. Unfortunately I've had too many cumulative bad experiences here.. So my toddler and I will no longer attend; however, I appreciate the brief elation.

This lady that still works there that’s been there since at least the 90s is so sweet, I absolutely adore her! However, ALL the new employees are horrible. Don’t go there to try to study anymore, or read a book in silence. You know how loud kids get when the teacher leaves the room? That’s what the EMPLOYEES sound like. It’s freaking ridiculous, and the African American lady with the very short hear is rude as hell. This place might still be good for kids but for any other reason it’s went downhill bad. I hate to see just how bad it gets when the other lady finally retires.
