Rockaway Beach

Beach was nice and clean. You think beach is closed after labor day think again. Beach goers everywhere taking a dip or surfing at rockaway beach. Live band at the bar on the boardwalk. Great for a late night walk.🥰😍🫠

Beautiful broad beach. I went there during weekday, boardwalk and beach were almost empty. It is a huge beach, you can take a long walks toward east direction.

Enjoyed my time here, everything was clean and nice, seems like everyone happy being here, all the signs are understandable, the public toilet closed at the time i went there probably open in the summer? , there is another option in the playground near the beach the public restrooms open till 4 pm. Definitely going bqck in summer to see how truly beautiful it is

AMAZING BEACH. The time I went, it was absolutely freezing (I went numb), but that was only because it's the start of spring, and it's windy. The sand is warm, soft, and clean, there is a proper walkway down to the beach, there is no trash, and the waves are pretty big. There was also a skate park and a fenced boardwalk.The only 2 downsides I saw there were the rocks in the water. But it was my bad. I wasn't looking in the water for them. The other downside is the inability to fish over there. There are way too many people surfing, so the most sensible thing to do is to just not fish. Other than that, it's possibly the best beach in NY.
