Rockaway Township Free Public Library - Main Library

It is a quiet and friendly library. Library's print subscription include the NY Times, WSJ, and many magazins. it has a photo and documents scanner, printer, and many books. Downstairs there is a dedicated library for childre. there is a quiet study room. A few times a year library gives away old CDs, DVDs when they become outdated.

Good for them for having the kids summer reading program. And the weekly scavenger hunt. They had a reptile show and petting zoo tonight. It was really exceptional. Happy to see taxpayer dollars going back into the community and towards our youth. They have a great selection of children’s books too. Hats off.

Love this library! We visit almost every week, the librarians are incredibly helpful and friendly.

I grew up in Rockaway and went to this library almost weekly until I got married and moved away. It's always been a place I could relax and enjoy. I came back after 7 years with my kids on a rainy day and found the children's area transformed in such an amazing way. We've been to a lot of libraries and a lot of children's sections and they have done such a great job.

We LOVE coming to the library. The staff are so amazing in the childrens department. The free classes are fun and engaging. This is a great Library Location for kids.
