Rockfish Public House

This was our first time here. My husband had a gift card from 6 years ago that we've been meaning to use. So we finally did. Such a nice atmosphere. The food and our drinks were outstanding. What a great happy hour too. Our server Jayden was AMAZING to say the least. Such a friendly outgoing person. She was fun and made our night great. The whole staff were very friendly. Even the guy who I'm assuming maybe works in the kitchen was very helpful. He was bringing in boxes and we couldn't figure out how to get to the restaurant from the parking garage. The elevators were broken and we were lost🤦. We had a fantastic night. Looking forward to going back. Definitely making sure we get Jayden again 💯.

The calamari was the BEST I've ever had and I've dined on the Mediterranean! Lightly breaded and tender perfection! The roasted beets sound pedestrian, but were a delicate, flavorful surprise. The pear salad was great and well-balanced not heavy on the feta as some restaurants try to drown the salad with it. My daughter-in-law had freshly made lobster roll and while her initial serving was too salty for her taste our waiter quickly returned it for a fresh redo and she was very well pleased with the outcome. When I return to the area, I'll be back for more!

Oyster stew was outstanding. Actually tastes like oyster. Had the fried calamari and a side of garlic potatoes. The calamari was fantastic and the dipping sauce was addictive. The garlic potatoes were fine, but completely unnecessary. I took half the calamari and all the potatoes home. Dauntingly big portions. Great service. Love this place.

Really good food, I had the BEST ever rockfish taco and my daughter had good crabcake and dessert were yum!! Clam chowder were heavenly!!! Def will come back to try other food 😋😋

Rockfish is absolutely amazing. I haven’t had anything off their menu that was not phenomenal. If you want actual good seafood in York this is the place to go. Service has been decent everytime I’ve gone. Certain items also rotate seasonally. Recommend getting reservations at least a day or so in advance. Highly recommend.
