If you are having an emergency and this county pulls up, just open your wallet and lose all hope from there. In July, I had a fainting spell (not unusual for being anemic in Texas summer) in a public place. Kind bystanders helped me to my mom's vehicle, when I began to have a very intense pain in my abdomen. A few minutes passed and I was taken to an emergency clinic. Upon arrival, the pain had completely dissipated and I was conscious and fine. The nurses at the clinic informed me there wasn't anything they could do, and that they wanted to call an ambulance. I immediately DECLINED an ambulance, saying I now felt fine and that these had happened before. Well, the clinic ALREADY called an ambulance, and in walk the paramedics who tell me to go with them. I declined services AGAIN, saying

We are extremely frustrated with the billing system! You cannot reach anyone! We have mailed the information, spoke to a representative, called numerous times and keep getting a bill! We are going on 3 months of getting nowhere! If you have any information to share, we welcome it!

Transported my daughter who was 17 at the time of her accident and was on my insurance and still is. ends up that they are not under contract with any insurance carriers. so I am responsible for the full amount which is fine, I call to negotiate the bill since paying cash, they wont talk to me because my daughter who is now 18 is the patient, but I am listed on the bill as responsible party, but they wont speak with me to get it paid because of hippa laws. refusing payment, how about that and they keep sending me bills. I told them good luck collecting that from a student. UPDATE: 01-09-18 ,The business that collects for Rockwall EMS ended up being the issue. I contacted the EMS office in Rockwall directly and spoke with them. She (A_y) had my issue resolved in less than 30 minutes after b
