Rockwell Ice Cream | Local, Super-Premium

This place has some really creative flavors, and overall it’s a great spot. A few of the ice creams I sampled were a bit too sweet for my taste and the the cookie on the casserole too, but The GOAT flavor definitely stood out, unique and delicious! Parking can be tough since it’s limited on the street, but it’s worth the stop if you’re in the area and want something a little different.

This could quite possibly be the best ice cream in Salt Lake City. I’ve been here a couple of times and my most recent visit. I tried some October only flavors and was blown away. Their ice cream flavors are very creatively made mixing different ingredients One would normally not think of. Also the ingredients they use are very premium. I will definitely be coming back.

My friend and I had an absolutely amazing experience from the moment we walked in! The ice cream was absolutely delectable and incredibly flavorful, with rich textures and some delicious chunks of candy, cookie though, and others, depending on the flavor you choose. Amis, our ice-cream server, was absolutely fantastic! She brought such wonderful energy, was very knowledgeable and gave us a real lesson on the ice cream they make there, explaining each of the flavors very thoroughly and patiently. She also gave us spot-on recommendations, and was so warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire visit. Her service truly elevated the whole experience. She definitely deserves a raise! Solid ice cream! I tried the honeycomb flavor as well as lemon. Both were delicious and creamy. Service was friendly and the design of the store was inviting!

Rockwell Ice Cream was really good! The prices are fair, especially considering the generous serving sizes. I had the GOAT flavor, which was delicious, and my husband had the Biscoff — a creamy vanilla with cookie crumbles — which he really enjoyed. The shop itself is large with plenty of seating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your treat. I also appreciated that they offer free drinking water. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
