Rocky Point Pizza

Recently visited Rocky Point Pizza and had an amazing experience. The food, the ambience and the people all are super nice and friendly! Also Kudos to the owner who gave us free garlic knots togo. Definitely visit if you are looking for good and authentic Italian food.

I’ve been coming to Rocky Point Pizza for years now, and it’s always been one of my favorite spots in town. The staff makes you feel like family every time you walk in, which is rare to find these days. The food is always authentic and delicious so it’s easy to see why this place has been a staple in Rocky Point for so long. Their Brooklyn-style slice is hands down my favorite slice anywhere, and I can never find one quite like it anywhere else.

Yesterday I stopped into Rocky Point Pizza around 1 PM to purchase two balls of pizza dough, something I’ve bought from them many times before without issue. I was the only customer in the shop. When I approached the counter and asked to buy the dough, the man working very rudely said, “No, we’re not selling those today.” I was surprised but not upset and simply put my wallet back into my purse to leave. At that point, an older gentleman behind the counter told him, “No, it’s okay, give her what she wants.” The original employee then snapped back, “No! We’re not selling them,” while glaring at me. The entire interaction was extremely uncomfortable. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a pizzeria. His behavior was bizarre and aggressive, as if I were asking for something inappropriate rather

in for a quick cheese slice. It was just ok. My grandson had a pepperoni slice and said pepperoni was tasteless. The man behind the counter was very nice. Took care of us quickly and was very friendly wishing us a happy holiday Thought the price was a little high for 2 slices and 2 small fountain drinks. 15.70 for the order

Staff was so friendly and accommodating, food came out quickly and was superb. It can be hard to find solid pizza east of the Nassau County/Suffolk Border but this place delivered. Looking forward to coming back, highly recommended!
