Rocky's on The Lake

My husband and I went to Rocky’s last month. It is located on Hinckley Reservoir near a campground. We found it with Google maps. There was plenty of parking on the side and in front. They asked us if we had reservations. We did not but they seated us right away. It is advisable to have reservations for better seating. They have seating with a view of the lake. I ordered the broiled haddock. My husband ordered the stuffed haddock. My meal was very good. My husband did not like the sauce they put over the stuffed haddock. He said it tasted fishy and ruined the meal. All of the other food was very good. I saw other people’s meals coming out and evening looked good. Customers were making comments about how good the food was. Many were regulars. Our waitress returned at the end of our meal and

The price is well worth the food greatest food I’ve had in a while. Tastes great is always cooked right never had a bad experience here nice staff even the chefs have great attitudes. Perfect for big family’s or dates with that special someone you’ll find yourself going back trust me worth the trip

Great place up on Hinkley reservoir. It’s almost out of place up there among the campsites. They have a few bars, lots of seats and plenty of outdoor seating. It’s still a bit cold and rainy so we ate inside and enjoyed the food and the modern yet rustic interior. Prices were reasonable and staff was friendly

The view from the inner dining area was nice. Wished it wasn't hazy so we could have eaten outside. The service was great- from our Host to our waitress, Krista, and her trainee. They were always quick to bring us refills and check up on us. Such nice people! The food was delicious. Highly recommend the bruschetta bread for an appetizer! Already making plans to return sometime for a Sunday brunch. Definitely recommend Rocky's.

The menu is big with prices a little bit on the higher side. Chicken wings were smaller than I am used to for the price. Add 2 dollars if you want to split sauces on your wings… uggghhh. Pizza was decent. Not very busy but the food took over 20 minutes. The Guinness beer was not poured properly either. Service was a bit slow and we weren’t Checked on. Would we drive and go back, probably not.
