Love how close a delicious pizza place is! Since I came with Yelp we had a specialty pizza that was really delicious, with Bolognese on top, in a very interesting, new style. I haven't tried before. I am usually a meat lover or a white pizza person, but adding the meat on top of the white pizza was actually very delicious. My mom just got the classic Bianca pizza, and it was really good. I had a slice myself, and loved it. We also tried the fried risotto balls, which were really good, served with a side of marinara. The location is really cute, and everyone was so friendly inside. Glad this is so close to me because I'II definitely be back here again.
As someone with celiac disease, finding pizza this good—and genuinely safe—in Jacksonville is honestly life-changing. Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza is hands-down the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. My go-to order is the calzone, Margherita pizza, and burrata, and every single time it’s perfection. The dough is unreal (crispy, airy, and full of flavor—not that sad gluten-free substitute taste), the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the portions are so generous that I always have leftovers. What really says everything is that my non-gluten-free family eats here with me and genuinely loves it. They don’t feel like they’re “settling” for gluten-free at all—it’s just really amazing pizza that everyone can enjoy. The quality compared to the pricing is absolutely
Excellent service. I really appreciate the staff taking the time to explain the menu. Service was fast and the food was delicious. Our burrata appetizer was great. I enjoyed the burrata baked in pizza dough. We got a blanco pizza and margharita with pepperoni. Both were delicious! The sauce was flavorful and balanced, but the standout for me was the pizza dough/crust. Light and airy with a nice crisp on the bottom and it tasted wonderful. The outer portion of the crust had just the right amount of crisp with chewiness on the inside. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. Crafted flavor and presentation in a casual, easy going, clean environment. I can see why people rave about this place.
If you’re craving thoughtfully crafted pizza in Riverside, Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza at 1029 Park Street is the kind of place that reminds you why simple ingredients, handled with care, make all the difference. This family-owned gem has quickly become a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. Their Neo-Neapolitan pies start with long-fermented dough that delivers that perfect balance—light, airy, slightly chewy with a beautifully blistered crust. The use of imported San Marzano tomatoes and top-tier ingredients shines through in every bite. Nothing feels rushed or ordinary here; everything feels intentional. We had the pleasure of attending a special event hosted by Gabi and owner/operator Alex, and hearing Chef Alex share the story behind the concept made the experience even more meaningf
Rodrigo’s Craft Pizza is a win across the board. The space is clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed, with warm wood details and pizza boards on the walls that immediately set the tone—this place takes its craft seriously. The food absolutely delivers. The pizza and calzones are fresh, flavorful, and well-executed, with perfectly baked dough and quality ingredients. A standout is their gold burrata prosciutto calzone—burrata stuffed into the dough, finished with arugula and a balsamic glaze. Rich, balanced, and indulgent without being heavy. You can tell care goes into everything here, from presentation to taste. If you’re looking for artisan-style pizza and calzones done right, Rodrigo’s is worth the stop—and the repeat visit.
