Settled in beautiful downtown Detroit in such a wonderful building full of history. The decor and ambience is amazing. You feel as if you are partially stepping back in time here alittle. Rooms are gorgeous and worth it especially if you need to be downtown for a game or concert. Such a beautiful place and happy that it belongs to Detroit.

Clean, well stocked and decent service

We came in town for Red Wings game/Federov jersey retirement ceremony. Spent two nights at Roost and had a terrific experience. The room layout was perfect for our needs, everything was clean and orderly. I would also say that the location relative to the downtown Woodward corridor is excellent, we actually walked back from LCA which took about 15 minutes-easy. I would highly recommend Roost.

From the moment you step through the grand entrance of the Roost, the unique architecture tells a story of thoughtful revitalization. The building exudes a beauty and character that immediately captivates, seamlessly blending original, historic elements with modern luxury.||||The rooms are apartment style and very comfortable. The floors, the furniture, the views, all amazing. The terrace room on the 14th floor had a great layout, nice coffee machine, and looked like a great outdoor area but it was winter for us. As long as you're willing to walk 5-10 minutes, parking is easy, just use spot hero. We parked at the garage on Congress Parkway for only $20 for 3 days. You could valet at the hotel but it's a lot more expensive and the Roost is very vibrant and busy on Friday and Saturday nights

Amazing hotel! This was our second stay at the Roost. My husband and I decided to take a weekend getaway downtown. Devon upgraded our one bedroom suite to a one bedroom premium suite and it had the best views of city. Thank you Devon! We always have a great stay at this hotel. The weekend we went the weather was in the teens so we were able to have an amazing dinner at La Supreme and then an after dinner drink on the rooftop at Kampers. All without going outside! Highly suggest making reservations for Aladdin Sane (the speakeasy) and the other restaurants as they do fill up.
